Selon les dires non officiels, les torpilles Shkval sont opérationnelles depuis plus de 35 ans dans la marine russe. Pour information les américain ont développé la même, elle se nomme Supercav c'est performances, à ma connaissance ne sont pas connue et les anglais développe des torpilles à supercavitation sous le nom de Spearfish.En 2004, le fabricant d'armes allemand DIEHL BGT a annoncé sa propre torpille à supercavitation appelée Barracuda qui atteindrait une vitesse de 800 km/h. Mais qui au final s'avère être une torpille allant à la vitesse de 370 km/h. Le Shkval a été exporté en chine. Par ailleurs les russes ont développé une version allégée du Shkval qui est exporté en Iran depuis 2006, la torpille Hoot se déplace à 360Km/h. Si les russes ce permettre d'exporté ce type de torpille c'est qu'ils ont mieux en stock. Il se pourrait que les russes et les américain disposerait dans le plus grand secret de torpilles MHD (magnétohydrodynamique) dont la vitesse serait de 2000km/h depuis 20 ans, il semblerait que leurs vitesse soit de 3000Km/h actuellement, l'US NAVY serait en train de développer une torpille MHD dépassant les 3500Km/h et aurait expérimenté un projectile qui fila à plus de 5400 km/h soit le supersonique sous-marin !

    these re not similar. plasma and supercavitation are different things. just imagine what reactive power should initiate a stab gas cloud at nose and apprxly dicide what power would move such an underwater rocket. of corse by this there a cease friction to be but the pressure stays on at its nose and its huge
