This is the violin that Andy described in our previous video. It has a very beautiful, warm tone, and an amazingly detailed engraved back. Here, professional violinist, Amy Tobin, of Fein Violins, shows us just how beautiful this violin sounds.

It was made in St. Paul, MN by O.M. Robinson in December 1908. To see more information on this great violin, please follow the link: http://feinviolins.com/item_display.php?upc=V0ROBINSON

  • Do you think that the filigree engraving compromises the sound at all? It is a beautiful violin.

  • @dropsoffaith I don't think the beautiful engraving compromises the sound at all! It is an absolutely gorgeous violin, and it sounds gorgeous, too!

  • Very nice full tone and a nice Bruch opening. I have a Robinson dated 1899 and owned since 1954. Similar big sound sut not nearly as pretty. ...still, a lifelong friend.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! It has a bold voice. Its beautiful
