My 40 ounce salute to Billy Dee Williams and Colt 45 Malt Liquor in general. Colt 45 is an old brand that's been around a while. Here I am enjoying one on a very hot late summer day here in central KY.

From what my dad tells me, "malt liquor" was never intended to be the "bottom shelf high alcohol beer" that it's seen as today - almost the opposite. He never mentions Colt 45, but he's told me stories of tearing down 8 oz. cans of Schlitz Malt Liquor. It was originally marketed as a "unique alternative", wasn't it?
