  • Simon Leach We love your videos! thanks for taking the time to do this, we're using them directly as we try and make this happen! wish me luck, im trying to do this to my old high fire electric Paragon

  • @camone512 Thanks for the feedback ~ KP !

  • Hi Simon, when you get a moment just email me the plans or some get them to me. I'm not sure if you can do it on facebook or any source. Some of the clay that we got I had in the small shed near the back of the house. I've brought it downstairs to the basement. Its getting hard and I would like to use it, what should I do to it?? When is a good time to call??

  • @TheSignGuy32 Call me tonight Carlos (sunday) . I am doing a workshop here right now today, thanks SL

  • Simon, I know you have been fuel firing for years but a suggestion: a carbon monoxide detector for the living space -or maybe you already have one?

  • @6jslade..... I do not live in the pottery ! the carbon monoxide is going to be extracted to the outside via a collector and a chimney. A detector though is a good idea ~ thanks. SL

  • So do you take that up to cone 10?? I have an old L&L that i's like to do this with. Do you think i could also do raku and use this type of gas kiln to get the pots to red hot then take them out with long tongs? How long does it take to get up to temp? When are you coming to Alfred mate?

  • Hi Simon, greetings from Victoria, Australia!

Thanks for your clips, i find them very helpful!

I am also making a kiln like this from an old Duncan electric.

Can you tell me roughly how long a biscuit & glaze firing should take in a kiln like this.

    Regards,

    Phil
