Such a good version ! Does anyone know if it's possible to get this performance on HQ DVD?

i LOVE THIS SONG.... :)

It is a shame, but I had to post this because it is such a rarity.
It is also such a gritty, virtually dirty version, and the audio quality almost adds to its grittiness.
I love this version - PLAY LOUD.

The sound is poor of course BUT The spirit is there also the power and THe VOICE ...no wonder he never played it after that tour...these days he plays In the black room which is in the same spirit but A louse is far more difficult to do alone....The ending being the Challenge....Plus how to recreate the power of the maelstrom of this song solo? It's for me the summum of his early recordings with Red Shift,BR and Forsaken Garden...not forgetting Modern !

I have been to the London Imperial College, to see the Edgar Broughton Band in July 1972. At the time they were my favourite band.

@professoricon:
I saw the Edgar Broughton Band many times in the seventies, and saw them again on their reunion tour in 2006 at the Robin 2 in Wolverhampton (15th March 2006). I saw them for the first time in 1971 at the Weeley festival, where VDGG also played.
