Great acceleration!!

I have the same engine (ok, with 160 hp) in my new mondeo, and I really love the car. The engine is awesome; almost silent while cruising, but when you accelerate a bit harder, it has a very nice growl for a 4-cylinder. Fuel economy is great in normal driving for a petrol car of mondeo's size (6-7 l/100 km). Performance is effortless even with a car full of people and baggage. Of course, it's not a sports car. BTW, it looks like the mondeo has very similar gear ratios compared to this focus.

@pelsification Thanks, I saw a Titanium X today with drum brakes, but im hoping that it might have been a 1.6 Diesel engine which has a lower BHP than the petrol engine. Keeping my fingers crossed that the deciding factor for the type of braking system is power output. We'll see.... Thanks again!!!

@pelsification i see... anyways, considering the performances and the fact that is`s a turbocharged engine, i think, those are good numbers :)
yeah, i read that many customers order the automatic parking, as it`s really helpful...i consider buying one too, but i think i`ll wait to see the new engine (the 1.0 liter) as fuel consumption is more important for me, than performance :D

@kannibalPlaNET When i made the video I hadn't taken over that car from the dealer yet. That consumption was what other people have done. I have never had an average under 12km/l after having bought it. It is of course possible to do less, it does 5km/l when driving at topspeed(220-230km/t) for example :-). in my summer vacation i drove over 1000km with an average of almost 17km/l. It depends alot on the driver and the driving style. Thank you it's a great car and the automatic parking is cool.
Engine sounds great!!! Im waiting for my new Focus Titanium X 1.6 Ecoboost 150PS to arrive (in the England if that makes a difference). Does anyone know if it has rear disc brakes or rear drums??? I was getting different answers from the dealers, and I think it would be a shame if it was drum brakes behing the 18inch 5 spoke alloys that ive added... Ive also looked at Used cars of the same spec, and it seems some have and some dont... Confused!!!

@gaff999 Congratulations with your new car. You won't regret it :-) All I know is that mine has discs at the rear, and since that car is pretty much the same all over the world, I don't see why yours shouldn't have discs. Maybe some of the lower specs cars have drums. I have tried looking through the danish brochure, but that doesn't help.

@pelsification Thanks, the English brochure doesnt say anything either. But looking at the pic of your car at the beginning of the video, it looks like you have the bi-Xenon headights and headlight washers which only our "Titanium X" has. Our standard "Titanium" doesnt have this, and the things like powerfold mirrors and parking assist are things you pay extra for... I wish they used the same Spec/design names in each country. Do you have heated front seats???
gaff999 3 weeks ago
@gaff999 We have two options here. Trend and Titanium. Mine is a Titanium. Yes I have heated front seats, it comes as standard no matter wich one you chose in DK. The Bi-xenon lights as welll as the multicolor cabin lights, are extras. So is the semiauto parking, wich is bought in a pack together with the powerfold mirrors. Other things that are extra on mine is metalic paint, Navigation, and a tow hook.
