  • Dude you are getting pretty damn good,Thanks for posting.....Nice Job!!

  • thanks, very much appreciated!

all that time spent picking instead of getting anything else done sure has its rewards...

  • good playing!

it seems like you go from strumming upwards with your index finger to clawhammer/frailing.. is this just an illusion (were you frailing the whole time??) if not, please explain a bit more about it. thanks!

  • ok, the first half was done in a 2-finger thumb lead style associated with Kentucky. basically, the thumb picks out a melody on the inside strings and the index is only used for a secondary drone on the 1st string. the second half was frailing. cheers

  • sounds lovely! that beer looks pretty tasty too...

  • thank you! i just wish i could sing this as well. oh well, beer (it was delicious wheat beer, by the way) should help mustering enough courage, but then, after too many beers i can't play anymore, apparently...

  • thanks for getting back to me. i'm not ready to handle two styles, but it seems to be working for you.

also, i am a firm believer that anybody can make up for bad singing with volume. that'd also help the courage bit =D
