Multimedia installation with computer screen, video projection and serigraphies. The duration of the video « paper support » is 36'.cut out in 7 loops of 3' to 6' 30.
Corinne Hadjadj and I are the supports of this white and light matter.
Our movements are very slow, excessively slow.
This slow matter-time of movement manipulating these great white paper surfaces, inspired me to use the scratchvideo.
The process of scratchvideo cuts out the moving images in static shots hatched like a stroboscope in an infernal rhythm. This process gives the bodies and the paper a sculptural and static appearance.
The serigraphies are issues of the strongest moments of the video.
The mouvement of the performers is stilled in his most expressive moment.
I produced the colors for my prints. This precise choice is coming from a very deep and strong felling witch are sending me each image.
During my work process I was watching my film again and wrote a list of words. It seemed to me that these images, which are passing by, or rather jumping in front of the eyes, in their extreme speed, are sending signs and senses, by flashes, tickling the unconscious.
I decided to make a film with those words that take part of the installation.
