Our class tour of TAMCO Steel was super good! They make steel into billets for sale, as well as turn those same billets into rebar. The first half of the tour is the melt shop, the second half is the rolling mill and bundling station.

I used to work at TAMCO Steel, Rolling the light bar used to suck it would cobble all over the place, when we would roll heavy bar it was easy money unless we broke down.

Tamco is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I use to pick up rebar there and haul it to northern California.
