@aceslipknot i'll make it easier for you
"Research"
Why would different engines turning the same rpm affect the speed of the vehicle?
Engines supply torque at a certain RPM, LS1 peak torque (off memory, could be wrong) is at like 4500 RPM, 2H and 1HZ peak torque is at about 2000 RPM.
The actual speed doesn't have too much to do with it, in terms of killing your diffs/gearbox, it's about how much torque you put through it.
Landcruiser is purposefully overengineered to last. LS1 is fine.

@BFCK97 when your not driving like this ;)
-
@landcruiser151 i did it myself mate, bit of work involved. no kits are available
-
how did you go about changing to coils can you buy kits?
-
@aceslipknot if my 2h motor revs at 2000 going 100kmh, why the fuck would a ls1 be reving any different?
-
aceslipknot ill make it easy for you, the gearbox and diffs are more then strong enough the way this got driven would be harder then you can ever imagine and your wrong with the ratio it sat on 2100rpm down the highway...
how does this thing go on fuel? coz im thinkin of swaping the ol 2h with somthing. but i use to own a v8 rangie back in the day an that was sooooooo shitty on fuel an i was worried that a ls1 would be the same in the old troopie.

@thisissic it went ok on fuel. 450kms to a tank. With a vss (speed sender) and a good mafless tune id say it would almost match the fuel figures of a commodore
