Pere Marquette 1225 and Nickel Plate Road 765 with passenger cars doing a photo run-by south of Cadillac, MI. Sorry for the shakiness as I didn't have a tripod. Crank up the volume and enjoy!!!

  • Just changed the title....after going through some of my vids, realized it was an oversight and mistake to leave the NKP 765 out. :)

  • Nice! There's only one thing better than a steam locomotive: 2 steam locomotives!

  • My favorite locomotive #1225! =)

  • two beautiful loco's (:

  • @jrs689 If it's a low sounding whistle, It's a Hancock of of N&W 611, if it's really high pitched, it's a CNR five chime off of CNR #5588. If it sounds like NKP #765, it's a Nathan 5 chime.

  • @PereMarquette1223 Oh. Can you please tell me what type of whistle 1225 has in the video "Steam Across America Part 30" (first blow is just after the 4-minute mark). And is that it's natural "voice"?

  • @jrs689 Not exactly #3985's actual whistle but the exact same type. Hancock three chime.

  • 1:03 UP 3985's whistle!

  • The 1225 and the 765 make a great pair.

  • @shookman34 Yes that would be a mistake but in my opinion nothing beats the 1225 :)

  • The Polar Express has a buddy!
