This video shows the artificial intelligence topic known as Flocking. Flocking is a vehicle algorithm used to determine how autonomous beings such as birds or fish react to their surrounding neighbourhood of other birds or fish. The video shows the three main rules used - Cohesion, Separation and Alignment. Each of these values are weighted using the values shown in the top left of the screen and are completely editable in the demo.
As well as this there is also a different movement mode where all the "boids" will seek out the player - the black square - as well as observing their other behaviours.
This was completed as part of my final year Artifical Intelligence module.
