I made these for a friend. They have the hardness and grip of Rumbles so they're pretty fast on smooth floors, but they also have a shape which has some of the "stone avoiding" benefits of Big Deuce wheels, so you're less likely to trip on a pebble on a normal street. They also have the two independant halves of a freespin wheel, but were custom milled on a custom jig that was very true, so you won't get much speed wobble.

I'd like to thank Maverick for inspiring me to make a wheel that is hopefully hard enough to handle his killer footy hops (although that has yet to be tested :o ) and to all the other heelers, without whom I never would have learned as much as I did about Heelys in less than a year.

If you're a hater of heelys just remember that even skateboarding took a long time to become mainstream and considered cool like it is by many today.

  • in that case.. i didn't say any thing.. but what are the obviouse reasons it is called diablo?

  • @SirThunderthief: sorry, should have explained more. The pun was originally aimed at a friend on heelychat where I linked to this video - he was deeply religious and liked new wheels so I named them as sort of a joke between us.

  • it is diabolo.... diablo is devil

  • @SirThunderthief - I know.The spelling was intentional. I was making a pun.

  • nicee, looks cool! :D

  • oh i thought u ment the diabolo because of the chinese yoyos that look like that

  • @chelu252 Hi. I'm afraid making these required a lot of trial and error, a lot of machinery, and some custom jigs and tools that I made to help me make the wheels. It would probably take a whole series of tutorials, and a lot of time, and money to explain how to repeat the process, so unfortunately it wouldn't be possible for me to make a tutorial video. Sorry about that, but thanks for the interest.

  • I need does wheels. How can I get a pair!!

  • So I finally got a chance to watch the video. These wheels, honestly, are probably the coolest wheels I have seen.

Like it was discussed, I doubt they would be able to handle "massively aggressive" skating, but I think for use on a Street Skate Park, these would be probably the best wheels that could have been designed!
