  • Loved this video, that was my part of the world Devon/ Cornwall. Also lived in Redditch, so can understand the Brummie well. Fortunate to live on Vancouver Island now , where the country side is so different . Keep updating your lesson (very good )and most helpful.

  • @vernonbc2003 that's some contrast, from Redditch to Canada. You're making me jealous! Thanks for the support and keep watching!

  • If i may ask, how do you rpepare your paper? i have the problem of it wrinkling up and im not successful with "strecthing" the paper prior to painting. Any suggestions?

  • @Kir0880 I don't stretch the paper prior to painting and mine also used to wrinkle up as it's only 130lb. To get around the problem, if you notice in these videos I always start by giving the paper a good soaking with clean water, wet enough so that you can see the water running down the paper. Then, by the time I've done the sky and some of the background, the paper has stretched evenly and it's just a case of refixing at the one end. Hope this has helped. Anything else, just ask.

  • @Kir0880 That helps a lot. One last question. When you say refixing, what do you mean and how do you do it? And i am very grateful for you taking the time to answer my questions :)

  • @Kir0880 all I mean is once the paper has stretched, I undo the clips on the right hand side, pull the paper flat and then reapply the clips. Happy painting!

  • @WatercolourWorkshop Thank you very much!

  • @WatercolourWorkshop lol yeah I think it's the accent.

  • @po0kiepie I can only apologise for a lack of clarity but there’s little we can do with strong regional dialects. I have trouble understanding fellow Englishmen from some parts of my own country so I can sympathise with your predicament.

  • @WatercolourWorkshop it's definately the accent. subtitles?
