Six éirígí activists, including éirígí spokesperson Daithí Mac An Mhaistír and Dublin City Councillor Louise Minihan, take part in a symbolic occupation of Anglo Irish Bank in Dublin. The protest, timed to coincide with the 94th anniversary of the Easter Rising, was part of an éirígí day of action against NAMA, the bank bailout and the cutbacks to public services. • Keep up the good work éirígí!

  • Many consumers in Ireland have been mis-sold, misadvised and misinformed by the lending institutions. If you are a victim you could be entitled to compensation.

  • The revolution will not be televised!!!!

Its about time that the men and women of The sovereign Republic of Eire stood up and let our servents know that enough is enough. They should all be tried for treason in front of a Brehon law court.

    We the people are Sovereign

  • Éirígí seem to be the only people actually doing something to stop the government causing even more damage to Ireland. Well done.

However, it's my view that you can have either a Socialist Republic or freedom, but not both. Government intervention is the root cause of our problems, with their property tax incentives, and bank bailouts etc. Do we really want more Government intervention?

  • awesome work fellas

  • The next protest is on 15.05.10 at 2pm.

  • We in the USA are tired of Banks being bailed out along with General Motors. You are the first such anti bailout group to occupied a bank. At least it was a anti British occupation group. Long live the irish reunification movement.

  • 26 + 6 = 32

  • Well, well, well what have we got here? Its no suprise to see Éirígí building momentum. I congradulate them all- fair play. Tell me this anybody is the 32 Sovereign commitee connected to Éirígí at all?

  • Maith sibh éirgí
