thank you sooo much for posting this!!! my name is ariel michele jones.dannie joe jones is my granfather.i am steves oldest daughter.he passed away in 2003 when i was only 11 and i only have 1 picture to remember him of and thats me sitting on his knee while he played the steel guitar for me.its the only thing i remember him of.when i saw this video it really warmed my heart because i got to see more pictures of him playing and smiling!!! i would have loved to have seen him perform redneck girl

He was a family friend, and I remember when I was 10/11 n learning to play the guitar from him. Miss him a lot

i love this! i grew up and attended school with Dannie; he was husband's best friend; so much so that we named our son after him. He was a great man and i grieved his early demise; but God is always in control of our lives; and He needed an excellent steel guitar player for heaven's band; he is greatly missed by many!

I got the City of Sebastian to put in a memorial monument in the memory of Pete Harris and his band in the Riverview Park Sebastian, Florida. To keep his memory alive. We will turn it up for you Pete. Sunny

This is a great song and a perfect video to go along with it. Dannie was my uncle through marriage many many years ago, and he was a great man.

Pete...thanks for doing this song...when I heard dannie passed i couldn't believe it. My dad and cousin knew him pretty well from when they played, toured, and recorded with the bellamy brothers.
