Liberals and Democrats could not make aborton legal in the US by popular referendum or vote on the issue. And they could not get a bill passed through legislative actions to make abortion legal, They had to do it in the courts. So judges legislated from the bench. That they are not supposed to do. (but when a party is desparate to accomplish things anything goes) Judges are to interpret the law not make it.

It follows then that an athiest would be more apt to be pro abortion since there is no overseer (in their mind). Casey Anthony may face the death penalty.for the murder of her child (if you did see the child she was as beautiful as any child could be). SO according to the abortionists, that child can be terminated prior to birth with no penalty, but after birth this nation will give you life in prison for murdering your child. Can a child so valuable be worth any less before birth?

I'm sure what motivates Republicans to be pro life is their belief in a supreme being (God) that created life in the beginning. Therefore, if that is true then there is someone more powerful that is the author of life. And if behavior is not just our choice, but to be guided by something other than ourselves, then most abortions should not happen. What FINK believes that abortions are to protect the mother's life. Having them certainly threatens her fertility in many cases.

@SeekerKC ***Note: I did not intend the term "jacknut 'pro-lifer'" to sound as though I felt all Pro-Lifers are off their nut. I was specifically referring to those few, extremist Pro-Lifers who murder abortion doctors to prove how precious Life is.***

@Felhaven Actually, I consider myself more of a "Pro-Quality of Life" -er. ; )

@Felhaven thats how knowlege is made and a future is created. by finding better agreements for better ideas. if we just continued to bicker nothing would come of it. great discussion and yea i got to agree. the bill is good. but it needs to be...taken carefully i guess.

@SeekerKC I know that to a prochiocer it seems like a matter of personal beliefs, but to someone who is profoundly prolife this is not the case. a prolife person sees that in the same light as saying that it my personal "belief" that child molestation is wrong. I have spend alot of time debating with both camps and one one thing i notice is that niether side seems to get that the other believes their position to be self emminate.

@BigMidget06 hey i got to agree, i think there actualy is a way to reach an agree ment. so long as both side are willing to admit there maybe an infintesimal chance they are wrong.

@SeekerKC lol it was an interesting convo and i think thats what we both kinda came up with. but it was about ER people. you know. hospitals and not abortion clinics. there really shouldnt be a need for a woman to go to a hospital for an abortion unless its an emergency.
Nellie, usually I wholehearted agree with you. It just seems to me, your anger should be directed towards SF since he was the one that started harping on about how JF was going to kill his children and that the authorities needed to be contacted; not towards those addressing the B.S. The distraction started there with SF and JF.And like I asked Vogter; what do these two subjects have in common?

@SnowWalkerOne they have nothing in common thats my point...stop winging on about stupid fiucking drama when there are real issues. My sub box was filled with people go on & on about the fight and at the time NOTHING about these bills... it pissed me off so I said something.
