hello ICS team! almost all my airsoft guns are ICS: 3 M4 1 MP5 1 AK74 I plan on getting the L85, SIG and Galil in the future. I love the split gearbox. field repair is easy and it has happened to me many times where i just get an extra upper gearbox and replace. it takes 2 minutes! two problems: plastic hopup on M4 is no good -- breaks too much, please make metal. please use Modify style gearbox for V3 boxes. keep up the good work! ICS FOREVER!!!

thank you very much. i like your product very much. i play with Mike Force Airsoft in California where skill level is very high. ICS guns do well with other players who use Systema and KWA. My guns continue to work even after Systema breaks.

Even after 3 years of service, all my ICS work great and continue to do so.

Question: I want to upgrade all my guns to Li-Poly. What is maximum voltage for standard 3000 motor on M4? Can I use WITHOUT fuse protection?

All 7.4~11.1 Li-Poly are absolutely no problem for ICS split gear box. I know you are the master of ICS, but please use fuse, just in case.

Hey, ICS, I was wondering if I can put a split gearbox upper and lower into any standard metal m4 body? I really need to get a new gearbox, and I love the idea of the 2 piece gearbox making maintenance much easier, but I don't want to buy both pieces and figure out that they're specific to ICS bodies.

@MistroJoe Yes they do, but don't get systema - it's overpriced garbage. If you're paying that much, get Prometheus, or better yet. Head to AirsoftGI and pick up RiotSC gears - they're a bit more but are virtually indestructible.

@andersen8183 No airsoft gun is actually "lipo ready"in the sense that companies want you to believe when handing them your money - that's just a marketing gimmick to make you pay more for a gun. Any real "lipo ready" airsoft gun needs to have metal bushings(not bearings), properly shimmed gears, and most importantly, it needs a reliable Mosfet to prevent your trigger contacts from frying - if it's got these, then I would call it capable of running a lipo. CXP has all but the mofet iirc.
