The Engineering Competition at the Coast Guard Academy AIM program challenges would-be cadets to design and build a radio-controlled ship that can perform the same tasks as a Coast Guard Cutter. Boats must rescue stranded survivors, contain an oil spill, drop navigational bouys, land a helicopter, light a lighthouse, and chase down a drug runner. The eight companies are each divided into four teams, and each of these teams has eight hours to design and build the craft. The team here is Echo-4.

Filmed on a Canon Rebel T1i camera at 1280x720.
