The Diamond Edge Gourmet Electric Knife and Scissors Sharpener is the first electric sharpener of its kind to offer the flexibility of both electric and manual sharpening together in one household product. With this one product, you can easily sharpen extremely dull blades, maintain razor sharp edges on both straight and serrated blades, and sharpen most household scissors.

Your Diamond Edge Gourmet Electric Knife and Scissor Sharpener will sharpen straight edge knives of alloy, carbon, or stainless steel in the electric sharpening slot. It is designed to sharpen your finest cutlery and other common kitchen knives. Do not attempt to sharpen any blade that does not fit freely into the electric sharpening slot.

  • how thick of a blade will it sharpen? i want to get one that will sharpen my ka bar but its like a quarter inch thick

  • @slapoutz The slot is one quarter inch wide so your knife should fit, but it is going to be a very tight fit. If not, you would have to do manual sharpening.
