That "UK was middle of the pack" argument is ridiculous. First of all, Clemson wasn't the 2nd best team in the ACC, VT obviously was (even though technically Clemson finished 2nd) .. and either way, middle of the pack in the SEC is still supposed to be better than most any ACC team by homer ass SEC fan standards right? well, obviously not so.. ACC 2-0 vs SEC in bowls this year = owned.

UK fans brought whatever they did because they were excited to be Music City Bowlin.. expectations are a lot higher at a place like Clemson, with history and tradition in football. You put Clemson in a bowl that we belong in (shoulda been Gator this year but Bowden got his chance to be in the limelight in his last game) and Clemson fans show up in huge #'s

Puhleaze! If you think Kentucky travels better than Clemson, you're a fool. You had what was essentially a home game for UK. It's also an accomplishment for UK to make the MC Bowl. It's not for Clemson. For a team that was one defensive stop away from the Orange Bowl, slipping to the MC Bowl is a bit of a disappointment. Those are the reasons why UK had a better turnout. And with all those factors in UK's favor they still couldn't get it done.

Clemson is garbage and always underachieves. UK is a basketball school and still brings 5X more fans than Clemson to this game. Nice support from the Tiger fanbase!

kentucky lost by 2 to south carolina, beat auburn, beat georgia, and lost in overtime to tenn (which if they won would have put them in 2nd place in their division)...they are just as good if not better than all the middle of the pack teams in the sec so i would consider that a good win for the acc
