Mario Kart Wii - Sep 20 09 A

Is it me, or have people playing in Battle Mode become monsters very quickly? It used to be that I would practically hold up the entire team against the members of the opposing team. Now peple wipe the floor with me. How did this happen?

But first, a regular race. Someone asked that I use Baby Peach in the Quacker using Manual drift. I'm not very used to this style of racing, so I did much much fewer wheelies than I probably should've. You can't hop out of a wheelie in Automatic since, well, you can't hop, period. I underwent a pretty unusual setback upon being hit by the Blooper, grabbing a Mushroom and boosting myself right off the track where I almost never fall off. Still, it didn't stop me from taking the lead position, since the people who passed me alog the way somehow fell off the track in the exact same spot. Overcompetitive much?

The score at the end is just plain ridiculous. I could blame the fact that the game gave me nothing but defensive and trap items and gave the opponent tons of offensive items, but it shouldn't have ended with 0-8 against me. Absolutely nothing worked, and I always felt trumped through items. I'm trying to figure out what the technique of these players are, and the best I can figure out is to pick a choice spot and gather up a pair of items, dispensing of any unneeded ones. What I also can't figure out is how these people fire over walls. It happened here with a Red Shell towards the beginning, and it happened before over the walls in SNES Battle Course 3.

It was hard finding people here. I think other people are starting to do what I did before: Drive around in circles in the opposite direction of the people on the other team. Unfortunately, what was once a regular five-person race got messed up real fast: My partner in the Blue Team had disconnected, leaving me to fight against two Red Team members, one of whom was invisible on the map. (Technically, it was more like the Waluigi icon stayed in the same spot.) I hadn't realized this until I saw people zooming by, and I can't tell whether it's another Wi-Fi glitch or if it's the result of some hacking.

Just took a close look at Baby Daisy in that last battle. If you look at 10:03 , you'll notice that he/she/it has neither balloons or a player name.

i think on the lsat battle it was a glitch, because not only one person was invisible on map, the one that left was still on map, so i believe the game confused them together, making the one that left visible at the spot he was before he left and the other one being invisible on map in the process
