Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, and his Japanese counterpart, Takeaki Matsumoto, held bilateral talks ahead of the G8 foreign ministers meeting in Paris.

It comes as Russia reported a slight increase in levels of radiation in Vladivostock, some 800 kilometres from Fukushima.

Despite the increase Russia says radiation levels remain within safety limits.

That is not the case in Japan where authorities say radioactivity around the quake-damaged nuclear plant is "significantly higher."

  • Shitaki Matsumoto?

  • Israeli's jews sabatoged the reactors in Japan it has been stated. They were there the week before the quake, and it has been stated the Israeli jews set a nuke off under the waters of japan because japan was wanting to sell Iran enriched uranium. Something to consider since the Israeli jews have pulled off many false flag operations like 911 etc.

  • The nuclear contamination is an issue not

only in Nippon but also in Russia.

Kan PM must take care this contamination

    as the world catastrophe

  • And on comes the next setting for a post apocalyptic RPG.

  • @bondage2012 ppl are always ready ro have a go at Russia forgetting it was with Russian sucrifices n bravery Europe was saved from WW1 WW2 n Napoleon n they also forget that had it not been for Russia we would possibly be slaves to neocons/elitist NWO as for chernobyl the Russians moved in fast decisevely to avert a catastrophy 2 GE engineers warn General Electric the fukushima builder the design was flawed GE replied they spemd too much to stop n they resign big businesses= money over life

  • Hello - I have loads of 130mg potassium Iodide pills. Sending from EUROPE. One pill costs only 30 cents and shipping to USA is 8$ no matter how many you order. 10% from pills' selling goes for Japan (I think that due to this fact I am allowed to post my advertisement). Please provide your questions, quantity and shipping data in your private message. Other stuff that may be useful just in case: vitamins, minerals, carbon (for ingestion), baking soda and prussian blue. God bless you:)

  • @routerys it doesn't matter. if russians can't live there, japs can't either. if japs try to make a move to grab them, japan will be nuked for the 3rd time.

  • the islands are russian, you, idiot!!

  • If we fielded miles of solar panels , we would be sued by naturalists saying we are reflecting the sunlight back into the stratosphere, and causing global warming. If we have allot of windmills, we get sued because migratory birds crash into them. Forget all this, real solar energy is Trees! Burn them before mother nature burns them, and you will keep warm in winter. That is real solar energy, cut down the trees, they are like ever-ready batteries.

  • @slackmason the thing horrible my friend is that no one has died from the radiation leaking, but ten thousand to twenty thousand died from the Tsunami, and two that died who worked at the reactors, died in the Tsunmani and not from radiation. If you have a house with a basement, you can check for Radon Gas, natural radiation that actually kills people with cancer. Seal your basement, forget about radiation from the plants in Japan. We need energy bad, that is what is horrible.
