Chatty Loretta

Loretta is almost all the way healed from her accident. We were able to finally take the wrap off her toe, which has set nicely. She still has a few areas that are healing - deep wounds, but those are healing well. She is still enjoying the heat of the incubator and we are wondering how big a fit she will throw when it is no longer needed for her. Of course, Loretta is the queen, so what she says will go.

What happened to the poor thing? She doesn't look terrible, but sheesh!! The poor bird. Looks like she's getting lots of love though, so whatever happened she will recover from. But GOODNESS! It breaks my heart to see the poor thing....

Sweet Loretta. I'm so glad she is doing so well. I hope she continues to improve. She certainly looks much better than in Hurt014. Tell her 'Auntie Ann' sends love and kisses.

Thanks God that she is healing. It seems that there is a hole on her head. So scary --- just trying to imagine how scared was she when the other bird attacked her. She definitely needs help from human to survive. I hope that she gets healed and gets some nice feathers on her face and head.
