If two steamers doubleheaded is good then three steamers triple-headed must be better! :) By request, here are the MTH Premier Great Northern Z-6 Challenger (4-6-6-4), R-2 (2-8-8-2) and S-2 Northern (4-8-4), my entire GN green fleet, triple-headed in action! Please visit my web site - http://www.toytrains1.com - to see lots more videos of model (and real) trains in action! A NEW VIDEO OF THE TRIPLE-HEADED GN STEAMERS HAS BEEN SHOT IN TRUE HD 1080p! • @guvnahead84 i don't know the exact numbers offhand but I do remember reading that the R-2 had more drawbar pull than the Z6. I also remember seeing a chart in Trains Magazine showing that the R-2 had more drawbar pull than the UP Big Boy. To me, the R-2 was a lot better looking than the Z6, but not nearly as good as a Missabe M3.

  • you should show that pennsy running that you see in the very begining.

  • Now that's Beautiful. I wish this would happen in real life more often.

  • Which one was bigger and/or more powerful in real life? The Z-6 ( 4-6-6-4) or the R-2 (2-8-8-2)?

  • i am going to buy a great northern 4-8-4 in n-scale for $200.

  • You must have had a ton of power flowing through that truck to power those beasts

  • Neat-o!
