Hello everyone, these commercials were taken from one of my old vhs tapes. The quality is bleh but the nostalgia is grade A. If I remember right this was only a small taste of the Disney Channel. Because in the other commercials they are asking the viewer to get the channel.

Sorry if the audio is off or the color is bleh.I do not own anything.

  • Lesson learned: Even in the past, they had live-action programming, that's 100x BETTER, than today's programming.

And btw, The Lion King will have a Diamond Edition next year! ^^

  • WOW THIS COMERICAL LOOKS NIFTY lol xD

  • @birdyyyful disney channel still doesnt have commercials.

  • @ztslovebird i honestly have no idea why i love it but i really do. its like spongebob.

  • @BoogsterSU2 Why does everyone say that Phineas and Ferb is good? Even by today's standards it's crap! The characters redefine what it means to be one-dimensional; the stories are beyond absurd; they never explain how two 10-year-olds gained the knowledge, materials, technology, and necessary manpower to make their ridiculous projects; the parents are morons; the Perry subplots are obnoxious; the animation is pure crap; and there is no acting effort whatsoever!

  • @ztslovebird And the only GOOD TV show out there todat is PnF...

  • @BoogsterSU2 Here's another lesson; Disney's always had shows that could be perceived as stupid and/or annoyingly silly, but in the old days they at least PRETENDED to put some effort into making the shows seem good. Even the commercials had more effort put into them!

  • DISNEY created the Care Bears? AND the Babysitter's Club? It kind of makes sense, but still. But why was Peanuts on the Disney Channel? I thought they were too serious for the Mouse House.

  • @TherealRNO Nope. Marsupilami is voiced by Steve Mackall.

  • disney didnt have commercials per SE- they had advertisements for upcoming shows, events, etc... and they were after the program was over- not during like it is now.

  • And I never got to finish the Lion King game
