THANK YOU I´ve been searching for information like this for like a year

Sounds terrible

"8 or 9 pedals at once" Why on earth would you want to do that? It's just too much. It's noise for the sake of noise. There are players that use pedals tastefully within the confines of the music they're making, and it's not overkill. Ben Wendel uses pedals all the time and he makes great sounds that are very organic and natural. Or Jeff Coffin. They do exist.

I would love to know how he is getting the thick distortion on the drone. I have a Audio Technica AT<-350 clip on mic (condenser) running into an ART Tube Preamp and then into a Digitech 255 and I have even used separate guitar fuzzes and distortion boxes and all I get is squeel. I have read on SOTW you need to use a modulation effect like a wah or Flanger before the distortion in the chain for it to work but all I get is squeel. Very frustrating/. If anyone has hints, please post here.

@iscareuiknowit probably because of a brightness pedal effect and a sustainer also.

@Saxodude95 i guess you can wire a microphone to it and put the mic through an effects pedal, but i think youd need a crazy special effect for saxophone to make it sound good
i dident even knew that you could set your saxophone to effect pedals
