This is my video essay for college for George Mason University! :D

A little last minute, but nonetheless, I had fun making up lyrics to
"The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars as well as the uke cover by Sungha Jung ^^"

Lyrics to "Why GMU Is Right For Me"

Hi my name is Erika Roncal
and I live in Virginia
I'd like to tell about why
I'd like to go to GMU
So I'll sing a song of why it's right me

It's got programs; it's got clubs
its got activities. All of these things
that are just right for me
and nobody can tell me I can't. (No)
Sororities, Sports and associations
how much I wanna be in the Mason Nation.
C'mon now let's go green and gold!

So you know my name is Erika Roncal
and I live so close to GMU
I've grown up here all my life
it would just be an amazing sight
if I could get accepted to
George Mason

Oh it's just so close to home, yet so far away
I know I can get homesick if I'm feeling that way
There's just so much that I can do
if I go to GMU
so admissions office would you please
Accept me?

Well that was my video essay
of why George Mason's right for me
I knew if I had more time, I could
explain other reasons why
but for now I'm just gonna say
Please accept me? :3

Other reasons why GMU is awesome: friendships, campus, local atmosphere, nightlife, diversity, etc. etc. The sky's the limit with this school! All the things that I wanna say that are awesome is infinite. I've grown up on the campus so I already know this is why I want to go!

I also thought that tying my hair up, with my glasses, no make-up and sweats on is also a better way for me to get "in" the music from the original xD
