McCain's staff strips us of our civil liberties

As we walked down the PUBLIC sidewalk to attend John McCain's speech in Albuquerque, I said "go Obama!" to a group of pro-Obama protesters who were out on the street. It was not even loud enough for the Obama protesters to hear, but a McCain supporter overheard, and within minutes my fiance and I none-too-politely had our tickets rescinded and were, well, you can see exactly how we were treated. Neither of us said a single thing insulting or even negative, made even the vaguest hints of rabble rousing or being threatening, or even wore anything that might suggest we could be pro-Obama. Apparently, free speech simply is not a right you are entitled to in the vicinity of John McCain.

Im really sorry you had to experience this. How those two gentlemen knew if you were even a supporter of McCain or not in the first place by asking you to leave so rudely made my jaw drop. A public event indeed gives you the right to attend, and for this cop to ask you to leave without causing any harm is beyond words. Thank goodness for video cameras.
