  • Aleister thought L. Ron Hubbard was a douche and an idiot. After reading some of his works and listening to his interviews I have to say I agree with him. Especially since scientology doesn't want their followers to convert to thelema.

  • @HoneyCallMeAnonymous Aleister Crowley was NOT a satanist. The OTO is NOT a satanic organization. The occult is NOT synonymous with satanistm. Get your facts staight.

  • some really good stuff here

  • brilliant video

  • @troan60 actually their main center is in Clearwater (which you're also not far from) I live nearby as well (New Port Richey)...I've been to their 'Hotel' in Clearwater one New Years...they almost (nearly literally) RUN that town...seriously.

  • @spilledinsanity I've read Crowley. I think Magick/Book 4 is probably one of the BEST occult primers ever written! also, like Jack Parsons, I think Liber Oz is one of the BEST philosophical/political treatise/tracts written. But if you're going to ignore that "Crowley was a double edged" guy (let's just say he valued HIS own liberty, other people's not so much) then you've not read enough about Crowley. I think you're missing my point. I'm not 'bashing' Crowley-I admire the guy

  • @nrgmomo99 What Crowley did sexually is none of my business, and frankly, none of yours. See unlike other religions we don't revere the human figure that created it. That would be a distraction from our own spiritual attainment. No law says that Crowley needs to be perfect to create a valid religion. Plus, I wouldn't even say that eating fecal matter makes someone that terrible, I mean, it's not like you're raping someone, it's just weird.

  • @bunkopaniczny It's an extension in the sense that "Do what thou wilt" is a phrase expressing individual liberty but at the same time you are bonded by this philosophy to not take away other's abilities to do their own Wills. Perhaps even to make your main goal self discovery and actualization, while not judging/interfering with others who do the same.

  • @bunkopaniczny I have to say that is simply not true. Read Crowley, he is all about freedom. Crowley had his personal biases and setbacks, but he kept it out of his philosophies because he believed in freedom more. There is no such thing as "Crowleyanity" because I do not idol worship Crowley, I just practice Thelema. If you liked Two Edged Sword you would like Crowley's work too. That book is actually somewhat of an extension to the philosophy "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law."

  • thats the biggest bullshit i eva heard...he clled himself the Beast, signed his name 666...Aleister Crowley was proud wen the British times labeled him wickidest man alive....and he does play a big part in the music industry, listen to Stairway to heaven" backwards, the gov put a ban on subliminal messeges in the 80s,cuz all the rockers were doing it...whoeva says listen and u'll hear wat u want, well i have 100s of 2pac songs played backwards and not 1 Satanic Remark mentioned

  • @spilledinsanity your holy book from a dude who ate human feces during sex. So beautiful.

  • @spilledinsanity oh I have read "Freedom is a Two Edged Sword"...I actually rather liked that booklet. But honestly, Crowley would have loved to have achieved the 'mega-cult' of Scientology that Hubbard achieved...Crowleyanity never took off the way Scientology did; but I think Crowley would have loved it to?
