Datsun 510 ka24det First Fireup

this is my 1969 ka24det powered datsun 510 being started for the first time. this start is the culmination of 3+ years of weekends in the garage---finally, it lives!! i only let it run for a few seconds because the cooling system has yet to be connected.

hmm maybe not the best idea to rev it and not run water through it ,the computer wont know if i the motor is hot or cold (temp sensor wont get sitting in water and wont get a reading) so it will run warn up enrichment and run way too rich ,and when it warms up it wil still be running as if it is stone cold

wont hurt much just wouldnt wont anything to go worng with such a tidy looking engine !

your car is stalling probably cuz ur IACV is connected to the cold pipe. so check that out let me know what happens
