Kinda vague AU-vid... Anyway; Gandalf knows all along that Aragorn would eventually have to claim the throne of Gondor and that Frodo would have to destroy the Ring alone, but does not say anything since he's afraid that the truth will hurt them. But when the two others find out they get annoyed because of that he didn't tell them and in the end, Gandalf wonders what he really could have said to make it alright...
