AMERICA'S NAVY — A Global Force for Good (Version 1)

i love this commercial. so inspirational. i leave for basic training for the navy on feb 16 2010! i cant wait! go navy!

tho i really dont like the new recruiting slogan. Accelerate your Life was fine. even the old ones, like "its not just a job, its an adventure" but the new one...meh. it should have been like "America's Navy, A Global Force for Freedom". oh well.

I get goosebumps everytime I watch this. It totally motivates me. :D

Ever since I was a young chap I had dreamed of being a United States Sailor. I am in the middle of highschool right now and I know that my wait is shortening quickly. I promise I will put forth my honor, courage, and commitment toward the NAVY as well as America... God bless!

Firstly, quoting to me is not really a form of validation. Secondly, you quote mainly mass-murdering despots or their lackies (that or prima donna generals). This just does not help me see your point of view, which I admit to already being biased against. I need facts. I do agree that our elected representatives do not always do the bidding of their constituance, but this is because they are too busy being courted by lobbyists or courting their electors to be conspiring against our liberty.

As a vet you know we are the most powerful military force on the planet, yet you think that with all that power that these "fascists" could not have successfully stripped this rights from you. If the military of Guinea-Bissau can launch a coup and successfully control their populace, then what makes you think that the US military, under the control of "Fascists" could not have done the same. And I have a problem with how you attempt to "validate" your views.

If you really think that our government has been taken over by what you call "fascists", don't you think that the first thing they would have done is cracked down on the very rights that allow you to spread your own lies.

You go on thinking that our government is lying to us to perpetuate a state of fear so that they can further their "control" over us, but it is the very government you condemn that gives you the right to have and to state your opinion in a public forum such as this.
