For a call like that, if I was the QB, I would've given the ref a better reason for throwing me out. In fact another ref would have to do it, because the umpire would be on a stretcher.

That umpire needs to realize that sometimes, getting run over is what comes with that position. That play did not warrant a flag, and certainly did not warrant an ejection.
