I just finished restoring this Hobart welder. I'm just letting the engine break in for about 5 hours of running at 1800 RPM. It was a fun project and I'm almost finished. I've got welding leads ordered and decals to put on, then I'll sandblast and paint the frame I have it sitting on.

  • Did the engine require much work and if so, where did you find your parts. Good looking and sounding engine.

  • It required a total rebuild. I got most parts from Tim Stine at Rock Creek Consulting in Waterside PA

  • Very nice. I like that shade of grey. What paint did you use? Thanks.

  • Exellent piece of work.
