How big iss Ypsilanti? I know you can tell me numbers, but tell me in like other terms. Like what would a person living there say?

Well we are big enough to have a major university, two separate downtowns, and a river running through us, yet we are small enough to have hens in our backyards!! But if you want to see buildings over 4 stories tall, you gotta visit our neighbor, Ann Arbor. That's really the main hub of the area.

Ypsi's okay I must say. I enjoy the diversity and cultural events. I like A2 too.

@lisasimpson Ypsi really isnt that bad, yes it does have some sketchy parts but so does anywhere, I lived there during my childhood but moved out of state years ago, it all depends on where you live, We lived in Gault village and I remember we never even used to lock our doors and our house was never robbed. A lot of people from A2 down Ypsi as if A2 is just the best place on earth,  yes I like A2 it is nice but people from there really have a snobby attitude about Ypsi.

@SoloRaven yeah i've always drove by the water tower but never really stop to take a look at it i hear it's nickname is the "Brick Dick" and won " the most Phallic building" ever time i ride past that tower i always think "wtf were they thinking when they built this?"

Ypsilanti is alright for the most part but there are definitely some douche bags that try to start stuff around. But I like Ypsilanti because ive lived here all my life and its home to me.

you dont know how good in have it ,try living in Detroit a real ghetto every neighborhoods is pretty safe in ypsi, and ann arbor the safest place in the world, i dont think thire ever was even a murder in ann arbor or ypsi, thir both collage towns,and murders are very rare on school grounds, why do you think when one person gets shoot in a school it make national

ypsilanti a very safe town it take about a year for a murder too happen, in the town i live near it's more like 15 murders per year, i dont know why people say ypsil dangers lol it's just a lower class town, and in ann arbor dame ! most take year for someting that wrong to happen
