@MN12BIRD also a great physix card i remember when i got a 6800 ultra for 200 bucks!!! back in 05 oh the memories
-
if I have 1.60 GHZ memory processor and i have this videocard....my computer it works?
-
I´d still buy a 9600gt cause non of these new cards looks as nice as the 9600

@MrDarkone707 Yeah it's still not too bad a card. Sure it's several years old now but it's still a bit faster in DX9 and DX10 games than the new GT430 so if you can get one real cheap go for it. But for new pricing you might want to look at a GTS430 or GTS450 and get newer features like DX11 and bit stream audio built in for HDMI.

i got the same card but i down clock to 550/1200/900 it's not because it ran hot or overheat but because it ate power like crazy and that card that's on the pc that's only use for BT download and i ran 7 gaming computer at the same time so i had to made this choice because of power saving :(

i got it for 50$

@everydadimshuffling2 Hey it still beats anything onboard if you just game WOW or L4D2 it's still more than enough! Heck it even handles Skyrim on high. But for more demanding and or DX11 games obviously it's no good! I still use a 4870 myself. Powerful enough for any DX9 game and most DX10 games but it doesn't have DX11 either :(

Well, dude, what Power Supply do you have ? I need to buy a new one ,and i dont know what PSU would be cheap and good. I need a new one because this video card needs a PCI-e 6 pin connector ...

Cheap and good hardly go together in a PSU. Get a decent name brand (Cooler Master, OCZ, Corsair, Thermaltake, Antec, etc etc etc) in 500W or more.
