what is the secret to enable the 1st hidden switch on the wall?

I can't get it work!!

I think it's intended as a speedbonus - but you can also trigger that secret by stepping out of the level exit door by about 2 steps, then walk back into the level and use the switch next to the level exit again which should make the platform underneath the hidden switch appear - at least thats how i did it.

wow just recently got this game again pure greatness game i remember when i was a child and well done i didnt know how to get all secrets on this level and you managed it with ease :)

I love this game. Graphics, monsters, atmosphere! Unfrtunately it was very difficult for me when I was a child, so I used cheats :) These walking monsters from first level are my all time favoutite!

@calvinfoo it's triggered by 1st: position of 3 levers beneath 2nd: get the last lever before 2 minutes. The hidden switch would trigger special bonus, which would give you on giant jump at beginning of world 2.

I tried to copy your method, it works, however, that time I did, I didn't go back and forth from the World 1.2 Door. It just opened when i triggered the World Door switch.

I can't find the exact reason how it was triggered. I googled the solution, and I found one fella's guide is to reach the World Door within 2 minutes. But your solution is obviously way more than 2 minutes.
