Combustion - Ambulent (Live at UKM Drøbak)

Hey!

This is the second and last song we played at our concert at UKM Drøbak. It's a brand new song and this was the first time we showed it to anyone, and it got a great reception.
it still sounded great eventhough we dont have a Bassist or Vocalist, so we really look forward to getting more members to fatten up the tone and make it sound much better!

We decided to strart the song with a drum solo to get the energy level up a notch which worked out pretty well.

and the Guitar solos are all 100% Improvised, so please dont go all nuts on the "You suck ass and balls!" comments :P

was the soundguy like.. "dude that was an easy setup.. and it sounded really good." just curious is all man.. I always thought about going that route.. but never knew about how it would work out.. I hear meshuggah does that too.. with the line 6 vetta heads.. they run them direct.. the video sounds pretty thick though.. so thats a good thing :D

we actually had problems with the XLR cables, so we actully used about 10 minustes to set it up, but that wasn't our fault. and the sound dude told us it sounded really blurry and scratchy too. haha. to my ears it sounded really heavy and metal as fuck but the sound dude is an old blues drummer so to his ears it probably sounded like hell with only 2 distorted guitars and no bass guitar or vocals. :P

hey!

we both used a line 6 pod X3 Live each, straight to the PA, nothing more, it sounds super awesome, i really recommend it! it made us sound super powerful even without a bassist.

so in short:

Guitar----Pod X3 Live-----PA.

Nothing more.
