Chapter 6

Mackenzies P.O.V.

*Ohh hey! Anthony, right?* Mikaela asked him. He nodded his head kinda weirded out.
*Cool. Im Mikaela,* she told him with a smile. He smiled back.

Ohh no. what was she doing?

*Look Mackenzie! Its Anthony! * she told me as she tapped me on my shoulder, which made me look at him. I tried giving him a smile. Didnt work. I laughed nervously instead.
* So what brings you around?* Mikaela asked him.
*Umm lunch? I got hungry too..* he said. Ahh! Obviously! Why was Mikaela asking a dumb question?
*Oh..right. right. Me too..* she told him.
I rolled my eyes. Thanks for pointing out the obvious!
*So..I was thinking..* Mikaela started. I saw Anthonys right eyebrow go up.
*Maybe you should sit with us, huh?* Mikaela asked him.

But seriously, how blind was Mikaela really is?
He sat on our table!

Then I saw Anthony look at me.
*Mikaela. Didnt you know that he does sit with us?* I asked.
* Oh do you?* she asked him.
He nodded his head, why did it matter?

Mikaela and I then grabbed our lunches and headed to our table. Mikaela realizing that he DID sit in our table.

Then for a while they both talked to each other, I guess they got to be friends. But what I didnt like is that she had the urge to always include me in their conversation, when I really didnt care. What did she think? She was cupid?

Soon enough lunch time was over. 5 minutes before the bell rang; the teachers let us out to go to our lockers.

Mikaela and I both walked to her locker because thats where our next period books were. She put in her combination and opened her locker. I got my books and then waited for her to get hers.

But then suddenly I saw Nick walk out the cafeteria. He walked with his head down but then he looked up. It felt like both our eyes met each other as he walked beside his friend. Gosh, did this make me so nervous. But somehow I couldnt get my eyes off him.

Dont you sometimes wonder why it was so hard to keep your eyes off someone?
