Great shooting - both with the gun and the camera. It looked to me like these were all head shots - is that the only way for a sure kill on a squirrel with an air rifle?

Also, was this with a .177 or .22 air rifle?

I'm about to start my own pest squirrel elimination and am just trying to do a little research first - thanks.

i still prefer live capture / release but these were not tortured

for anyone like me that loves squirrels ,,

even though they look very gruesome ,, all were killed

in a way that would cause the least pain possible

@CaneFu If you are using an air rifle, the best shot's to take are the head, or behind the shoulder where the heart it, they are both quick deaths, both painless. Alot of people think that a heart shot is painful, but they feel nothing and die within seconds. You can also get an instant kill in the neck area but you have a chance to hit the spine and injure the animal with much pain. Hope it helped! :D
