Winter In-Class Work 2010: Team interpreting exercise. Topic on Butterflies. We were able to get the topic and presentation overview prior to the lecture. We chose open-process teaming which seemed to work perfectly. Audience consisted of 7 (hearing) interpreters, our professor, Cathy Markland, and three Deaf students.

  • @LoleexRU - Thanks for watching this un-edited version ! It's like watching paint dry sometimes (LOL!!), but I thought it important to show the full wait time/ communication between team members and the time keeping involved. It's only last-year classroom work but what you don';t see are the Deaf students in the audience that were actually participating in this piece.

  • It's an IEP- ASL-English Interpreter Education Program held at LaGuardia Community College, Queens NY
