i actually dont think there lyrics sound "childish" because if you really listen to them they really make sense, they just think of cleaver ways to create make it into a song. and their songs are awesome!

Amazing song. Even more amazing band. It's really too bad they broke. Islands don't sound even close to how great the Unicorns sound. Especially for 3 people.

As much as people tend to dismiss The Unicorns as childish, or "stupid" because of their lyrics, they definitely were one of the better bands around the early 2000s; for my money, they were the best indie act in existence at their time and still have songs that can't be touched...they really just grow on you
