One of Scorcese's most underrated with a great performance by DeNiro. In this scene Rubert attempts to record a homemade audition tape for the producers of the Jerry Langford (Jerry Lewis) show. Good times!

Truly unfunny comedy, but for good reasons. Rupert is one sad loser.

I saw this in the cinema when it came out, and my slave, Angelo Pastormerlo, noticed that the character of Rupert was shockingly like my second husband, "David Alexander." It was chilling. cutecatfaith d com is my website.

@killuminati43 Oh my if you havent scene this film yet please do, the performances in the film from everyone are amazing the wrighting is so sharp this is easly one of Scorsases best and way ahead of its time.
