My cover of Choke by Feeder

This is my cover of Choke by Feeder.

This is the first ever cover of a song that I have ever uploaded, so be nice please.

1. Sorry about the little delay at the beginning. This song has a rather sudden start so I had to play some of the previous track before this one which meant I had no idea when it was going to start.

2. I did mess the first verse up a bit. Sorry again.

3. Towards the end I went a bit out of time. That's why, during the last chorus I stopped playing.

I'm hoping to do another take of this sometime because this one wasn't great.

Dude that's cool you covered this track. It's probably the best one on Echo Park, before Feeder went belly up and decided to suck. I agree with one of the others, your distortion on the chorus is really overpowering. You should try to play with a cleaner distortion for that part. Nevertheless, good try and keep playing.

This was the first cover I'd done and I hadn't really practised it very much before recording it either so it's the worse cover of mine aswell. I think I played the chorus wrong anyway, so I should probaby re-do it.

And do you not like Silent Cry?

I think that's their best abum by far!

I guess it really depends on what kind of music you like. I grew up with the more rocking and edgy Feeder. You cannot compare Swim, Polythene, and YWTS with CIS, PTS, and SC. With the 1st 3 albums there was this raw original sound that made me feel like I was apart of this cutting edge band. To me this soft poppy new sound is like Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox 20. You should try posting songs like Sweet 16, World Asleep, Polythene Girl, Descend, and Cement. Those songs kick ass like Choke!

I've not really listened to earlier Feeder like Swim and Polythene etc. so don't really know the earlier stuff. None of the songs you just mentioned I've heard of. If they're rockier type songs like Choke though then I presume I'd definitely like them so I'll give them a listen, possibly even cover them if I like them/can play them.
