E-Bots LoudMouths from Ontario Canada do the FLL Smart Move challenge in 67.62 seconds with the full 400 points. For our Reginal event we were Tournament Champions and finished 1st for Robot Challenge. They went to the Ontario Provincials and scored 400s in the qualifiers, the highest of 41 teams, unfortunately we had a motor fail (so we couldn't do any of our missions) in the elimination round and were sadly eliminated. ... We did win the Robot Design Award 1st place.

  • Great but you took in the loop when it was out of base.

  • @gomelooloo1

As I mentioned before in a previous post , This was filmed shortly after one of our tournaments, with our Coach substituted form my actual team mate. To be honest he wasn't very good on the table :) Sorry Coach .... Mind you, he was also timing and filming too.

How did your team do on Smart moves.

  • Is this still built? I should probably finish making up those instructions for the entire robot. Just let me know if it still works!

  • Yup, It's still together. Which app did you use I wanted to finish it too.

  • Um I hate to break it to you but don't you lose points if you hit a warning beacon?

And when you finished the course I didn't see any people or the dummy on your robot.

  • es, LegoFanatic is right. if you bring the beacons into the base you're allowed to stand them up by hand.

We decided early in our design that we could reduce the risk of leaving beacons down by moving them into the base.

We made this video in a hurry and couldn't find our lego figures or the dummy so we just made it anyway. They normally sit inside the base. We didn't think that it was that important for the video, but I suppose we could tape it again We have a faster version.

  • How you got that loops is 0:33 ? i see by hand, by how many motors/what methods does it use?

Anyway cool vid, we weren;t able to get more than 200 points on competition, because the program was everytime f****n' up at getting to the circle (what means we missed about 110 points).

  • How did you do this with just 3 engins??

    It`s very good.

  • Oh my freaking god that was jaw dropping! How many points did you get? At the regionals I only got 350 and you should sign up for contest because dam!

  • I would love for a guide on how to make that arm
