In the french version Mistral's name is Mercués.I am french and I saw this miniseries long ago in french.And the title is different too,french have called the series"love in inheritance."But I do like the original version very much.

Boy France, Provence and the surrounding countries and cities have gorgeous architecture and countrysides! No to mention the sizes of some of the homes, hotels, etc!

This female actress /love intrest is not attractive. She is too... old to play this character as he is. Many actors/actresses age well and can play these characters. This should be remade with actors they have aged, and have maintained allure... I know, this is not nice, but if you give me this juicy stuff, give me a juicy actor/actress.Any Suggestions?????
