  • Happy Birthday to one of my favorite rebels! (February 1, 1840)

  • He killed unarmed civilians.

    That's murder, that's not war.

I suppose you all just love Hitler or Osama Bin Laden too?

  • @Phalanx3800 Kindly don't compare William Anderson to the likes of Hitler and Osama Bin Laden. Maybe if the Yankees left his family alone, then he wouldn't have had to avenge what they did to harm them.

  • @magictricks3 Two wrongs make a right?

Where is your Southern Christian morals?

  • @Phalanx3800 Hmmmmmmm, then you are admitting the Yankees were wrong!

  • I'm sorry- don't you think that Bloody Bill isn't quite the hero to be worshipped? Sure, for some part of his life he was a guerilla, maybe even a vigilante but at some point he lost his mind and became a psychopat, ravenous murderer.

  • ~Hoodinski~, I worship ~no~ mortal ...

  • @Phalanx3800 Point out in my comment where I defended Anderson. I understand Anderson AND Che as guerrillas because I spent 13 shitty months of my life with K Co, 3/8 Marines waging war against men like them. As we all know, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." Anderson, like so many others that you would marginalize as "hateful" or "racist" or "brainwashed" were NOT one-dimensional characters; indeed they were complicated men who were passionate about their causes.

  • @libertarianbastard Sorry you would assume that, as a Libertarian myself it really saddens me to see another Libertarian jump to the defense of someone who would rob innocent people of the right to life, liberty and property. Which Anderson did, repeatedly and for no other reason than out of vengeful anger.

That is not a war hero, that is a crime against humanity.

  • @MrGerardnl Anybody who targets civilians, unarmed men, women and children for the sake of anger is neither deserving nor should they ever receive any kind of admiration for such actions.

William Anderson being one of many of such people throughout history. I honestly do not care about the politics of the Civil War. Murderers and evil men fought for both sides and the matter of slavery and a decentralized federal government was settled because of the South's idiocy of firing first.

  • @Phalanx3800

you must like the yanks dont you? the guys who burnt, shot, and raped ther way trough the south?

  • I bet a million bucks that the twits railing against Anderson behind their computer monitors support Che because that's what is fashionable. Hypocrite pussies.

  • R.I.P William T you will never be forgotten.

  • What a guy deserves more recognition he will be sorely missed....... im not bias im from scotland i know what it feels like to be repressed by a devil nation.

  • on this day in history Capt Anderson gave his life as one of the first anit terrorist groups!

    DEO VINDICE!

  • @Phalanx3800 He killed whoever needed killing. That's war.
