I've never had so many of them before the storms. It was amazing to see all of them. Now, it's back to normal, just the regulars visit. Katrina and Ivan both tore up the Gulf coast, destroyed lots of their natural food sources and human feeders they were accustomed to. That's why we had a "feeding frenzy".
Thanks for watching!

Hummingbirds have been coming to my feeders for tens of years, had nothing to do with any storms here in Indiana. I get them right after mothers day and they go deep south after labor day. I love them and made another video yesterday

I'm seeing a few more a the feeder now. It's usually just before they head south for the winter. That's when the feeding frenzy, as seen here, begins.:)

Don't hold your breath on the vid ;) But yeah, sometimes storms do bring 'em in, think the most we've ever had is three at a time...

Depends on where you live. Most of them are heading south for the winter. I still see a few stragglers coming by right now but they'll all be gone soon.:(
Thanks for watching.

I love this! Great sound track too. My ruby throats get aggressive too, but I've never seen anything like yours. And they ARE greedy! I can't believe how much their little bodies can consume daily!
