@alernest not sure about aussies but the real deal in the US is this - we got so many people, 300 million last time i checked... and a great deal of morons in there. the morons bark the loudest and generally get their way because they're dumb assholes. so all the great music, great comedy, great everything, gets swept under all the bullshit tossed around by dumb morons. but it's still there. Bill Hicks rules all.

I liked Kids in the Hall much better because Ken Marino went to high school with me. Funny guy . I always knew he'd be successful.

I like both shows, but Kids in the Hall is so much better than MADtv. Much more wit and irony as opposed to straight forward base humor. Give it a chance. Also, you will be surprised by how quickly you will become old and everything that you loved when you were younger is suddenly referred to as "reeeealy old" by naive kids.

I think this may be the best Kids In the Hall skit ever. Of course, I think that about a lot of their skits.
